UP.PT - Faculty of Medicine

Esta formação não está ativa.

The training of non-technical skills in a PCT context is not formally included in the curricula of health schools and there is a need for postgraduate training. The purpose of its inclusion in training is to increase the perception of professional identity, develop collaborative practices, implement effective communication strategies, develop leadership skills, and promote effective teamwork.

The application of simulation as a teaching modality allows working on these skills in an immersive, safe and challenging environment, and there is scientific evidence of the impact of simulation on the acquisition and retention of NTCs, with transfer into clinical practice.
