Established in 1995, the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto is one of the most innovative Portuguese law schools. In fact, only FDUP offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Criminology, a field that, along with Law, sets the Faculty’s training apart.
FDUP also stands out for its scientific production in the fields of legal sciences and crime science. The Faculty also provides services to the community under collaboration protocols signed with public and private entities in areas such as criminal mediation.
Since 2004 the Faculty of Law has been housed in the renovated building on Rua dos Bragas, formerly occupied by the Faculty of Engineering .
