Even though most of the University of Porto’s buildings are historic, the University has adapted entrances as well as the conditions of its schools and halls of residence to improve accessibility (removing barriers, installing ramps, etc.). U.Porto continues to work towards improving your academic experience, investing in resources – such as libraries and ICT – which promote access to education for all.
You can get in touch with our Inclusive Support Service (NAI) whenever you need to. This Service is responsible for promoting inclusion and diversity and works to ensure equal access to education and an inclusive learning environment at the University.
To request Student with a Disability/Condition Status (webpage in Portuguese), contact the staff member responsible for support of students with a disability at your faculty. You may be directed to other specialised support services where necessary.
