Awarded by the Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Internationalisation, the Excellence Award in Scientific Research of the University of Porto aims to give value to and stimulate the effort of the academic community in the creation of new knowledge, the production of articles for scientific publications and fundraising for R&D+i activities.
Awarded for the first time in 2018, the Excellence Award in Research annually recognises lecturers or researchers at U.Porto and the participating entities who have distinguished themselves through excellence and degree of impact in scientific production.
