Research Support - Resources and Tools

U.Porto’s academic community has a wide variety of resources and tools at its disposal to support its R&D activities in the various stages of scientific production.

Throughout the University, the U.Porto community has access to various means, resources and IT tools that provide all the conditions for the development of research activities.

U.Porto provides its community with a wide variety of resources, services and tools for research support across three main categories – Documentation and Information Centres, Repositories and Electronic Resources – which play a crucial role in U.Porto’s research activities.

List of resources and tools

At any of U.Porto's Organisational Units, the academic community can reserve essential resources through the Information System (SIGARRA) for producing work (laboratories or research equipment, among other resources), register or share academic publications and research projects that members are involved in, automatically create CVs and activity reports, among many other possibilities.
