The University of Porto has several academic support structures, which are responsible for providing an individualized response to the needs of our students at each moment of their training.
Before and after your arrival at the University, you can count on the support and guidance of our academic services, spread all over the campus. Their competences include the welcome and integration of new students, information/guidance about rights and social resources available at the U.Porto, support for students interested in participating in mobility programmes and the follow-up of international students.
All schools at the U.Porto provide academic services and support structures for students.
At a central level, the Academic Training and Organisation Service (FOA) coordinates and collaborates with faculties in all areas related to the provision of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuous training. The FOA is also responsible for the Access to Higher Education Office operating at the University of Porto (GAES-UP).
The University also has an Inclusion Support Centre (NAI), aimed especially at students with special needs.
