First Degree in Sociology

The Sociology Course offers you the opportunity to acquire skills in the defining domains of sociological thought, methodological skills for the analysis of social processes, and scientifically-founded skills related to social work. You will also learn about national and international sociological production and develop a culture of critical and reflective citizenship as well as professional conduct based on ethical principles.

"Social and business organisations: Working in survey teams, designing market, advertising and marketing studies; coordinating and implementing studies on the social climate, job satisfaction, internal communication; evaluating social intervention projects; training, developing continuous improvement processes; human resource management; conflict mediation.
Local authorities and panels for local and regional development: coordinating and implementing social, urban, environmental and educational intervention measures; management and requalification of cultural heritage; cultural training and promotion.
Public and private organisations: conception and implementation of social policies; promotion of inclusion strategies for marginalised social groups; collaboration in school and hospital organisation administration and for other institutions; conception and implementation of policy measures related to health, employment, education and training, housing, culture and tourism.
Research centres: analysis of bibliographies and production of scientific texts; development of fieldwork; production, processing and analysis of information."
