Masters Degree in Viticulture and Oenology Engineering
The Master's Degree in Viticulture and Oenology Engineering, created in collaboration with the School of Agriculture – University of Lisbon and INIAV, offers advanced, world-class training in the field of Vine and Wine. The course equips students with the expertise necessary to occupy leadership positions in the national and transnational wine sector, boasting strong ties with industry, through a wine harvest internship (compulsory course unit) at a winery where the student comes into contact with the company’s practical reality, as well as through study visits and research work conducted in partner vineyards and wineries.
Job Opportunities
Private sector: Business creation, with a focus on the production of vineyards and wine; Senior technician in the vineyards and oenology fields; Specialised consultancy in viticulture;
Public sector: Positions in public bodies in charge of planning, managing and promoting wine products on a local, national and international level; Research and education: Participating in and leading multidisciplinary research teams in the viticulture and oenology fields, either in public or in private research bodies.
