Masters Degree in Art and Design for the Public Space
Aimed at graduates of Fine Art, Design, Landscape Design, Architecture, and other related fields, the Master's Degree in Art and Design for the Public Space is offered by FBAUP. The course owes its innovative nature to an approach which lies at the intersection of a variety of experiences and educational contexts, allowing for a transversality of knowledge and practices and distinguishing it not only nationally but internationally It unites prior educational and/or vocational training with a specialisation focused on different aspects of public space and related issues (social, political, urban, or even virtual).
Job Opportunities
Urban analysis and consultancy; Artistic direction, curating and/or cultural programming in the context of cities and public areas; Development of activities, either stand-alone or resulting from interdisciplinary collaboration, in the context of spatial and/or relational artistic practices in public areas; Development of public participation/involvement processes on urban and cultural policies; Publishing and research in public art and design.
