Pleural pathology is an area of major relevance in respiratory medicine, due to its high prevalence and the complex clinical challenges it entails. PLEURAL-UP, Pleural Pathology Training at the University of Porto, has been carefully designed to prepare its participants to interpret the clinical and radiological findings related to pleural pathology, with particular relevance to the etiological study and treatment of pleural effusion, and the approach to patients with pneumothorax.
