Telemedicine and eHealth encompass the use of a set of information and communication technologies in clinical practice, at the telehealth level, with interventions on health behaviour and education, health and disease epidemiology, environmental health issues and health management and policies, e-health, encompassing electronic health records, health information, clinical decision support and prescribing systems, and m-health, in terms of clinical support, support for professionals, remote data collection and help lines.
