Education and Museums: contributions for global citizenship and development Esta formação não está ativa.
This Training Unit aims to explore the potential of museums and museological objects in addressing various areas of Citizenship Education (ENEC, 2017), contributing to the development of areas of competence defined in the Profile of Students Leaving Compulsory Schooling (2017) and the implementation of activities that promote essential learning in the field of Citizenship and Development, with a view to the student's all-round development. | Several generative themes are offered which, organised as central modules articulate some of the areas of Citizenship Education (e.g., Human Rights; Gender Equality; Inter-culturality; Sustainable Development, among others) with the aim of fostering critical and creative thinking, aesthetic sensitivity, scientific, technical, and technological knowledge, amongst other areas of competence in the Student Profile.
