Lifelong Learning - List of Courses

Experimental Activities in Physics for the 10th year of Secondary Education Esta formação não está ativa.

The 10th-grade program of Secondary Education has been designed to promote the development of essential skills during students' learning processes, placing a strong emphasis on experimental work, physical modeling, and the use of digital technologies such as graphing calculators, video recording, sensors, and computers. This applies to both the acquisition of experimental data and the computer processing and subsequent communication of results.

These aspects require continuous teacher training in teaching and learning processes, both in terms of content and methodologies. In the case of experimental sciences, particularly Physics, there is a need for a reinforcement of the experimental component to promote active and meaningful learning.
Quality physics education must be associated with the professional development of teachers. Therefore, this training aims to ensure that teachers, who may sometimes be distant from the use of the latest technologies in physics experimentation, feel updated in achieving the objectives outlined in the 10th-grade program and in developing experimental activities using motivating techniques through which the conceptual aspects of physics can be more easily understood by students.
