The doctoral programme in Law offered by FDUP emphasises an interdisciplinary and holistic perspective of the emerging ethical and social responsibilities in the Legal Sciences.

In addition to consolidating the transversal skills acquired through high-level training, the programme aims to: foster critical thinking and stimulate original applications in the specialised field of study; and to make a real contribution to expanding the frontiers of knowledge, deserving of national or international publication.
