Creative and Productivity Software

With an annual subscription, Adobe Creative Cloud offers various applications that are widely used in areas such as graphic design, image and video editing, animation, photography, web development, digital publishing and social networks, providing creative solutions in both the professional and academic spheres. Among the best-known applications are Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and InDesign.

These applications can be purchased individually or in a single "All Apps" package.

VIP Linked Membership allows the consolidation of existing Adobe CC licenses at U.Porto. Thus, all the organizational units (OUs) subscribing to this optional resource have access to a higher discount level (VIP Select level 4) than the total volume of subscriptions at U.Porto. However, they keep the aggregated VIP contracts (Adobe Value Incentive Plan) individualized. In this way, there are no changes locally to the acquisition processes, license management, or annuity dates established at each OU.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Geographic Information System (GIS) is used to capture, manage, analyse, and visualise geospatial data, enabling the creation of interactive maps and advanced geographic analysis.

The availability is limited to the number of individual licenses acquired, being attributed according to the criteria defined by each subscribing Organic Unit (FADEUP, FAUP, FCUP, FEP, FEUP, FLUP, FMUP, ICBAS, CIIMAR, and INEGI).

Students interested in using ArcGIS should ask the lecturer to complete the registration form.

Alternatively, ArcGIS can be used in ESRI's cloud: ArcGIS Online (AGOL). The registration of students and researchers using this web solution should be requested through the IT contacts.

Productivity

Designed specifically for educational institutions such as schools and universities, it offers various features and tools to improve collaboration, communication, and productivity in the educational environment.

The availability is limited to the number of individual licenses acquired, being attributed according to the criteria defined by each subscribing Organic Unit (FAUP, FBAUP, FCNAUP, FCUP, FDUP, FEP, FEUP, FFUP, FLUP, FMDUP, FPCEUP, ICBAS, and Reitoria).

Access to Google Workspace Education, associated with up[123456789]@g.uporto.pt (the numbers represent your student/mechanographic number) accounts, will be provided to subscribing organic units under the following conditions:

Staff with “Active” status in the Information System will have a storage space limited to 100GB;
Students with “Attending” status in the Information System will have a storage space limited to 15GB.
For users whose status is no longer “Active”/”Attending”, the account will be removed after 3 months.
