U.Porto uses ESET® technology to protect several types of devices (endpoints).

Endpoint Antivirus

ESET® Endpoint Antivirus is a strong antivirus and antispyware protection that uses advanced technologies to control devices and to perform analysis using the cloud. In this way, it prevents unauthorised data transfers.

Installation

1. Go to https://atlas.up.pt;
2. You will be sent to the institutional authentication page, where you should log in using the format up[123456789]@[institution].up.pt[ 1 ] and the password of the Information System.
3. The page where you can choose the desired software will be presented.
4. The installer is available in the directory "Software\[institution]\Antivirus"[ 2 ].

Endpoint Security

ESET® Endpoint Security offers the advantages of ESET® Endpoint Antivirus plus a bidirectional firewall, Internet access control, protection against botnet and other features.

Installation

1. Go to https://atlas.up.pt;

Mobile Security

The ESET® proactive technology, which is optimised for mobile devices, ensures real time protection of all applications and files. Anti-phishing protects users from attempts to obtain passwords, bank data and other sensitive information by false websites. Application control strengthens the device’s security and policies by controlling which applications can be installed.

Installation

1. Instal the application on your mobile device using Google Play Store;
2. To activate the licence, go to the Helpdesk of UPdigital that is closer to you.
