Email Account (Students)

Access via Web

  1. Go to the web address https://webmail.edu.up.pt;

  2. Insert your username in the format up[123456789]@up.pt[ 1 ];

  3. Enter the password.

Access via Microsoft® Outlook® Email Client

  1. Open Microsoft® Outlook® and select "File".

  2. Click on "Add Account";

  3. Insert the email address.

  4. Select "Microsoft 365";

    Select "Microsoft 365"

  5. Insert the user in the format up[123456789]@up.pt[ 1 ].

  6. Select the option "Remember my credentials".

  7. The configuration is complete.

  8. Click on the "Next" button.

  9. Restart Microsoft® Outlook®.

Access Via Mozilla Thunderbird® Email Client

In Mozilla Thunderbird®, the account will be configured automatically.

  1. Select the configuration menu of the email account.

  2. Insert your name, your email address in the format up[123456789]@edu.[institution].up.pt[ 2 ] and the respective password.

  3. Click on the "Continue" button.

  4. Access settings will be completed automatically.

  5. Click on the "Done" button.

  6. The configuration is complete.

Notes

  1. The numbers represent your student/mechanographic number.
  2. The numbers represent your student/mechanographic number and "institution" represents your home institution (arq, fade, fba, fc, fcna, direito, fe, fep, ff, fmd, fpce, icbas, letras or med).
