Sustainability - Equality, Inclusion and Diversity

FEP is committed with practices that promote equality, inclusion and diversity, recognizing their importance in the school. Aligned with the U.Porto strategy, we work to enhance these dimensions.

In 2021, the University of Porto joined the consortium of the RESET project - Redesigning Equality and Scientific Excellence Together, made up of seven European universities. The RESET project, which will run until December 31, 2024, has as its main mission the promotion of gender equality and the design, implementation and evaluation of Plans for Gender Equality in each of the participating institutions. During the four years of the project (2021-2024), the U.Porto, together with more partner universities, will develop and implement a set of actions that involve all institutional ecosystems (students, faculties, administration, management).

FEP, aligned with this commitment, has Professor Cláudia Ribeiro as its representative in the U.Porto GEB – Gender Equality Board. This Council is made up of representatives from each of the U.Porto faculties and from services and other U.Porto entities.
