The Social partner for the 2nd edition of the ‘’One Year | One Cause’’ Project, taking place in the 2024/2025 academic year, is Stand4Good.
Stand4Good's main mission is to combat school dropout in higher education and promote youth employability among university students who, despite living in a situation of economic need and having applied for DGES Social Action Scholarships, did not obtain them due to a minimum difference, often compromising their continuity in higher education.
Ensuring support throughout the entire academic career, as well as in the first year after completing higher education, Stand4Good is supporting 50 young people (45 university students and 5 young people who completed higher education) by awarding a University scholarship and inclusion in different programs: Mentoring Program, Personal and Professional Skills Development Program, Employability Program, Inspirational Conversations Program and Volunteering Program.
Through a proximity intervention ensured by a technical team that accompanies students throughout their academic career, Stand4Good seeks to promote equal opportunities in higher education, ensuring that access to Education is, effectively, for everyone.
The selection of the partner entity resulted from the submission of proposals made, via survey, by members of the FEP community, with the final decision being made by the FEP Sustainability Committee, which chose between the suggested entities, considering various aspects, such as the motto of the academic year, the mission and values of the entities, as well as the initiatives and possible support.
