The project stems from the diagnosis of Porto's Education Charter and the PISA 2012 report, which identify needs at the level of scientific culture and literacy.
In parallel with the promotion of scientific literacy, this project allows schools located in more disadvantaged socio-economic contexts to offer their students a direct contact with higher education, strengthening this connection and the future continuity of studies.
FEP has participated in the project since its foundation in 2015, having already collaborated with Escola Secundária Garcia de Orta and Escola do Cerco.
For the 2022/2023 academic year, FEP's partner school is Conservatório de Música do Porto.
