The Centre for Child Development and Education Psychology (CPDEC) seeks to contribute to the development, adaptation and well-being of children and adolescents through research, training and scientific practice.

The focus of this Centre's activity is research, training and science-based intervention in developmental and educational psychology towards creating knowledge of individual psychological processes, contextual dynamics and transactional processes between the individual and the environment.

The Centre develops, tests, refines and disseminates research-based models of intervention to transform practices and policies of education and well-being of children and adolescents.

  • Valuing life contexts in terms of assessment, intervention and research.
