The First Degree in Educational Sciences (LCED) provides a "broadband" education that will enable you to acquire scientific knowledge to understand educational processes and develop professional intervention skills in multiple areas and in education and training contexts for audiences of different ages. The course is structured around four components, articulated with each other: i) multidisciplinary theoretical training in Education; ii) training in research and intervention methodologies; iii) theoretical-practical training that promotes communicative-relational, reflective and critical skills; and an introductory seminar in mediation and training.

The First Degree in Psychology (LPSI) provides initial training in psychology by learning fundamental content and competences in line with the EuroPsy/European Certificate in Psychology. Organised by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPCEUP) and the Faculty of Fine Arts (FBAUP) of the University of Porto, the Master's Degree in Visual Arts Teaching in the 3rd Cycle of Primary and Secondary Education (MEAV) is a project for the academic and professional training of visual arts teachers, combining scientific and pedagogical knowledge and skills capable of responding to the challenges facing arts education. Throughout the cycle of studies, teacher training, supervised teaching practice and research in the visual arts aim to contribute to the critical discussion of the problems that affect schools and the actions of teachers, through innovative teaching and learning methodologies, in close relationship with the epistemological field of art education.

The Doctoral Programme in Human Sexuality (PDSH) aims to promote advanced knowledge and the development of research in an area of central relevance to well-being and biopsychosocial health. It is the first doctoral programme of its kind in Europe and one of the few at international level. The creation of this doctoral programme aims to fill gaps resulting from the lack of specialised advanced training in this area. It is a partnership between the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPCEUP), the Faculty of Medicine (FMUP) and the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) of the University of Porto. It brings together researchers and teachers specialising in the field of sexuality from research centres (CPUP, CIIE, EPIUnit, UMIB). It promotes high-quality advanced training with the establishment of strategic international partnerships, with the ultimate aim of establishing an international centre of excellence in the field of sexuality.
