Masters Degree in Nutrition Education
Joint initiative between: Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto | FCNAUP and Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto | FPCEUP.
It was created to provide advanced training in this area. Comprised of a highly qualified faculty from the faculties FCNAUP, FPCEUP, Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP) and Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP). The Master in Food Education (MEA) aims to cross different domains of knowledge from Nutrition Sciences, Education and Psychology to Design and Communication in order to offer an innovative training plan in the national scenery.
Working days: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (5pm-8pm) and Saturday mornings.
Face-to-face course, with teaching activity at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences and at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto.

This Master has CCPFC accreditation: Specialized training area Organization and Curriculum Development, Specialization in Health Education. The number of hours accredited for the career progression of teachers of Basic and Secondary Education is 300.
