The FADEUP's Technical Services, in harmony with Social Responsibility Group, are responsible for the main sustainability and environmental management initiatives, such as managing the various types of waste generated at their facilities, water and energy management.
Solar energy
The facilities are equipped with solar thermal panels to reduce primary energy consumption.
Water reducers and heating control
Taps and showers fitted with water reducers and implementation of measures to increase the efficiency of the heating system.
Waste management
Implementation of good practices, particularly in waste management, to certify FADEUP as an institution in the short term "Green Heart".
