It is essential to communicate and disseminate science these days, mainly, to make science reach an increasingly wide and diverse, eventually, non-specialist audience. Scientists are challenged to simplify their message, always transmitting it with commitment and rigor, but it is not easy!

To develop or deepen skills in science communication, the U.Porto promotes, throughout the year, other initiatives, training and courses that allow you to work with interdisciplinary teams and learn from qualified professionals in different areas.

The ‘Communicating Science to Non-Specialist Audiences’ course aims to enable students to acquire or develop skills that will allow them to articulate their research in a convincing and accessible discourse for a non-scientific audience.
