The European Summer School in Porto is part of the project “The Interprofessional European eHealth Program in Higher Education” (eHealth4all@EU). It provides eHealth knowledge into a social and management environment and endows future decision-makers with the necessary skills to adopt health IT and decide on its meaningful and appropriate implementation and use.

It will be a 5-day event of interactive, face-to-face lectures focusing on three main eHealth topics:

3) Data Protection and Security

Key concepts of data protection and the data subject’s rights. You will learn to recognize confidentiality and data protection issues and find solutions to them.

Enriched with relevant aspects from other subtopics such as:

Leadership & Governance

In this European summer school, you will be immersed in a rich learning environment and cultural exchange experience.

Case studies and problem-based learning will be used, so you can learn from other participants about eHealth perspectives across Europe and the importance of an interprofessional approach. Observations will be discussed in short debriefing sessions after each activity and at the end of the week in a dedicated team learning session.

Preliminary content and activities will be made available asynchronously during the previous month, so you can get upfront knowledge of the topics covered.
