Azucena Villaflor (1924-1977) was one of the mothers that founded the “Madres de Plaza de Mayo” movement in Argentina during the dictatorship this country experienced in the late 70s. Azucena protested against the kidnapping of her son Néstor, who was one of the desaparecidos. After a few months of protest she was herself kidnapped and killed. This is her story.
