Dirk Erfurth (47) is a social scientist who began his career at the Goethe-Institut in Munich. The Goethe-Institut is Germany’s globally active cultural institute that promotes the study of the German language abroad and supports international cultural exchange. In 2001, he moved to the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). As a startup consultant, he actively supported and accompanied young entrepreneurs on their way to professional success. Since 2006, he has been head of LMU’s Career Service (www.lmu.de/career-service).
