Margarida Morgado has a PhD in English Literature (Cultural Studies) from the University of Lisbon and is Coordinating Professor of English Cultural Studies at the Escola Superior de Educação, Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, where she teaches Business English, Intercultural Mediation, Translation and Plurilingual Education on a wide range of Bachelor courses. She is the Head of the Language Centre (CILCE) and coordinates English teaching across all faculties of the Polytechnic. She has been involved in several EU-funded applied research projects in the areas of CLIL, ICLHE, intercultural education and teacher education through Virtual Exchanges and she has published on these areas. She is a researcher at CETAPS and member of the Working CLIL Research Strand.
