Hands-on Debriefing Course

Debriefing is a reflexive practice method that allows scrutinizing assumptions and practices after an action. The debriefing is an essential part of the training in clinical simulation being in this phase (post-action) that occurs the reflection on professional practices, promoting the correction and modification of future actions.

This technique is not only applied in a simulation context but also in a context of clinical practice, enhancing the improvement of the performance of health professionals and patient care. The debriefing is still little known and applied in the national clinical context and in simulated training is often undervalued.
