International Heritage Summer School is a laboratory learning experience, merging theoretical contributions to observation, interpretation and methodological recording of landscape. The Douro Region, Portugal, is a territory marked by multiple issues that allow a multidisciplinary approach. The course aims to present and discuss thematic and scientific approaches on the studies of Cultural Heritage and Landscape, as elements that promote the development and the quality of life of societies.
