ISAK - Technician restricted profile anthropometrist Level 1
This course aims for all participants to be able to obtain anthropometric measurements in accordance with the international standards for anthropometric assessment developed by ISAK.
General objectives:
- Understand the assumptions of anthropometry and its limitations as a tool for assessing body composition;
- Know how to analyze and be able to interpret the results obtained in the anthropometric assessment;
- Understand the importance of using a standardized international protocol and the technical error of intra-observer measurement;
- Acquire practical skills in measuring the 21 indicators (skinfolds, perimeters, diameters and basic measurements).
