Doctorates - List of Courses

The Doctoral Programme in Metabolism - Clinical and Experimental offered by FMUP aims to equip students with the necessary theoretical and practical abilities to develop a doctoral thesis rooted in excellence in the different branches of metabolism and metabolic diseases. The course plan covers the fundamentals of metabolism, followed by a variety of elective course units which involve the main research topics related to metabolism and clinical biochemistry on a molecular, cellular and systems level. Throughout the course, students also have access to laboratory sessions, presentations, and the opportunity to participate in scientific seminars and J Clubs.
