Doctoral Degree in Environmental Engineering

The Doctoral Programme in Environmental Engineering (PDEA) offered by FEUP aims to provide advanced training in the field of diagnosis, prevention and resolution of environmental problems, using a multidisciplinary approach. Students will develop their doctoral thesis in different FEUP departments, promoting technological research and development rooted in excellence, while they acquire transversal skills in communication, scientific ethics, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Job Opportunities

PhDs in Environmental Engineering by FEUP can promote scientific development and technological innovation in the field of Environmental Engineering, not only in higher education institutions and research centers, but also in public institutions and companies, whether in Portugal or abroad.
