Doctoral Degree in Biomedical Engineering
The Doctoral Programme in Biomedical Engineering (PRODEB) from FEUP offers specialised training in cutting-edge thesis topics in various areas of biomedical engineering. The fields with the greatest impact are: biomaterials; tissue regeneration; biomechanics; simulation of physiological conditions for medical training; simulation of mechanical behaviour of tissues; bioimaging; biomedical image and signal analysis and medical devices, to aid in the treatment, diagnosis and support for various illnesses and conditions, such as ageing, mobility and the treatment of illnesses with a high economic and social impact.
