Doctoral Degree in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences
A joint initiative between the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences (FCNAUP) and the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP) of the University of Porto, the innovative PhD in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences (DCCAN) was created in 2009 to provide advanced training in those fields of knowledge.
Made up of a highly qualified faculty in the areas of food and food consumption, the programme has as a special focus the training of high-level researchers, able to act autonomously and manage solutions in order to promote technological, social and cultural processes.
