First Degree in Arts in Archaeology
The bachelor's degree in Archaeology from FLUP offers you an outstanding panorama of the major fields of Archaeology, from Pre-Historic Archaeology to Modern and Contemporary Archaeology. Objective: train archaeologists capable of handling complex and contradictory information, who are able to work as part of research teams and are equipped with critical awareness of mankind’s role and place in the world.
Graduates of Archaeology can work in the fields of Archaeological and Cultural Heritage, in particular in central and decentralised administrative bodies, local government bodies (archaeological offices, heritage departments, etc.), in museums (national, municipal, and others) and public and private institutions with collections, architecture firms, heritage management offices, Archaeology companies and other companies connected to Heritage. They can also conduct research or work as a freelancer.
