Sónia Pereira

Master's in Economics and Innovation Management from U.Porto, with advanced training in Governance, Knowledge, and Innovation from the University of Coimbra, and Business Management from LSE. Sónia coordinates support activities for research and funding opportunities, including strategic projects, in coordination with the management bodies of U.Porto. She also serves as the institutional contact point with various external entities and platforms.


Ana Milheiro da Silva

Master's in Psychology and PhD in Educational Sciences. Ana coordinates the research support area, developing activities related to data collection, analysis, and communication of the R&D ecosystem, as well as supporting initiatives to encourage research. She is also responsible for organizing (in)formative sessions on funding opportunities and skills, among other resources related to research.


Tito Novo

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with an MBA and certified training in project management from the Project Management Institute (PMP-PMI). Tito coordinates the project support area at SIP, developing activities to assist the scientific community in preparing applications for national and international funding programs, as well as strategic projects.


Diana Barros

Maping and monitoring of the R&D ecosystem | [email protected]


Master's degree in Economics and PhD in Development Studies. At SIP, Diana undertakes activities related to the responsibilities assigned to the UAI, namely the development and management of data collection, processing, and analysis models, linked to different research areas, aimed at monitoring respective activities, as well as organizing events and other initiatives to stimulate research, including IJUP - U.Porto's Young Researchers Meeting.


Ana Nogal Dias

Bachelor's degree in Biology and PhD in Biomedical Sciences, with experience in Cancer Research. Ana provides support for research activities and project management, including the implementation and reporting of research and innovation activities in collaborative projects within the framework of the EUGLOH - European University Alliance for Global Health. She is also responsible for the U.Porto Award for Excellence in Scientific Research.


Bruno Mendes

Bachelor's and Master's degree in Educational Sciences. Bruno worked as a research fellow on international and national projects in the fields of Higher Education and Deaf Studies. With experience in supporting and implementing grant applications, he is part of the SIP UAP team.


Jordana Costa

Communication | [email protected]


Master's degree in Communication Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Business Communication. Jordana has professional experience in communication and marketing, including content management and creation specifically in the field of R&D. She supports SIP in the communication aspect, managing communication channels, including the dissemination of the [email protected] newsletter, and the preparation of various SIP publications.
