Students who benefit from the scholarship of the General Directorate of Higher Education (DGES), have priority in the allocation of accommodation.
Undergraduate, master's or integrated master's students who do not benefit from a scholarship can only benefit from accommodation if there are vacancies after the allocation process for first-year students is completed.
The mobility students, international students of 2nd cycle, doctorate, post-doctorate and researchers of institutes associated with U.Porto can benefit from lodging in a university residence.
To apply for accommodation, you only need to have access credentials to the Information System of the University of Porto (SIGARRA), which the faculty will provide.

No. The monthly fee is always the same, regardless of the room or residence. This value is fixed by Law 71/2017 of 16 August and corresponds to 17.5% of the Social Support Index.
