Doctoral Degree in Pathology and Molecular Genetics
The Doctoral Programme in Molecular Pathology and Genetics, resulting from the collaboration between two U.Porto medical schools (ICBAS and FMUP), is intended for holders of a bachelor's or master's degree in the health sciences field, who are interested in developing basic and translational research in the field of biology and in improving and acquiring molecular diagnosis skills applied to biopathology and life sciences problems.
Job Opportunities
This course prepares graduates to lead and integrate scientific research projects and teams in several fields of knowledge. It also provides the necessary skills for molecular diagnosis in oncology as well as in the contagious diseases field and other health science fields.
