Clinical Ultrasonography
The Clinical Ultrasound training aims to train medical students and doctors in the patient approach with the ABCDE methodology, to the deteriorating patient, in emergency, operating room and intensive care settings. The UFC also aims to train candidates in identifying the main pathologies of patients in shock, in patients with acute respiratory or heart failure and in performing echocardiographic techniques in the placement of central vascular accesses.
Job Opportunities
Perform the ultrasound approach for each clinical situation of the patient.
Demonstrate competence in the basic principles of ultrasonography.
Demonstrate competency in recognizing basic anatomical structures of the abdominal region, cardiac, pulmonary and vascular accesses.
Demonstrate competency in the use of the echograph and echographic probes.
Demonstrate competence in the identification of pathological echographic images.
Demonstrate competence in the execution of the different echography protocols.
