Considering the reasons for the creation of the course, this course seeks to study some books of the Old Testament that are most significant to Western thought, trying to penetrate their language and meaning. It is intended that the study of the presented themes allows to understand the great lines of theological anthropology, present in the Old Testament. Theological Anthropology, being an area of ¿¿theology that, from the Bible, seeks to explain the meaning of human existence, takes place in dialogue with the human sciences and with the various aspects where the human being expresses his search for meaning. | By reading some biblical books of the Old Testament, it is intended to understand the great matrix lines that shape the Bible and structure human existence, which explains its importance for Western culture: creation and anthropology; the problem of evil in the world; the drama of human suffering; human love; denunciation of social evil and change.
