Portuguese: a linguistic and cultural experience II
The central objectives of the training unit are: to ensure the teaching and learning of the Portuguese language; | to develop in an integrated way the different skills underlying the acquisition of the communicative competence envisaged for this unit, namely listening comprehension; oral production and interaction; written comprehension; written production and interaction; knowledge and use of the language in its different dimensions; | to sensitise students to various aspects of the Portuguese way of being and living; | to promote opportunities for contact with the language in basic everyday situations that facilitate the process of integrating students into Portuguese culture/society.
