The central purpose of this Glossary of Educational Practices is to serve as a reference guide for the U.Porto academic community in the course of its educational activities. In this glossary you will find concise definitions of key terms in this area, from innovative teaching methodologies to fundamental pedagogical theories. Complementary information is provided on How to use some of the methodologies presented, the Sources used in editing and/or adapting the terms, Bibliography of U.Porto authors and Additional notes. In this way, the aim is to link theory and practice in order to help stimulate reflection among all those involved in the educational process. The structure of the glossary is dynamic and is constantly being built and updated.
