The Educational Innovation Unit is at the service of all the organic units of the University of Porto with the mission of supporting the development of the academic potential of all students, with a view to academic success and fighting school dropout, providing technical support for innovative and inclusive teaching and learning paths.
Support for the production of educational videos, webinars and other teaching resources, instructional design and audiovisual production in the production of b-learning, e-learning and MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) and the use of digital technology platforms recommended at U.Porto.
Training in promoting academic success and combating school dropout, innovative pedagogical and evaluative approaches and the use of digital technology as a central or complementary support tool in teaching and learning.
Valuing Pedagogical Innovation, by recognizing innovative pedagogical practices, encouraging and accompanying experiments in pedagogical change, encouraging peer supervision programs, collaborative workshops and dissemination.
