China Ambassador Scholarship 2025

In order to promote the development of friendly relations between China and Portugal, the Chinese Embassy in Portugal launched the “China Ambassador Scholarship” initiative in 2023, to encourage Portuguese students to learn Chinese language and culture and allow more young Portuguese people to learn about China.

2025 will be the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Portugal, the 3rd edition of the “China Ambassador Scholarship” is launched, a merit-based scholarship, so that all students of Portuguese nationality are welcome to submit their applications.
