Fee
100€ for the general public.
50€ for:
- U.Porto Community (students, alumni, and staff of the University of Porto);
- Students who have been enrolled at ICUP for more than a year;
- Students enrolled for the first time at ICUP;
- Family discount (limited to parents and their children or siblings): 50% discount for the second person;
- Discounts cannot be combined.
The price quoted is per quarter and includes insurance.
Payment is made via Multibanco using the Reference/Entity data indicated or at the Treasury of the Rectory of the University of Porto, during public opening hours.
Once payment has been made, there will be no refund of the amount paid for the course. There will only be a refund if the course changes or does not go ahead.
Modalities of teaching
Online: through the VooV Meeting or Zoom platform.
In person: at the Confucius Institute at the University of Porto (Rua de Ceuta 118, 6.º andar, n.º 42, 4050-190, Porto).
Language of communication
English. Classes marked with * mean that they will be taught in Portuguese.
Students are contacted by teachers via e-mail and/or WhatsApp.
Certification
Students who attend more than two-thirds of the total number of lessons receive a certificate of attendance via e-mail.
Levels and classes available for the 3rd trimester:
Students who enrol in a level and subsequently feel that it is unsuitable can change level and/or class, subject to availability.
Basic 1
Suitable for those who have never studied Chinese. The content of this course is based on the HSK standard textbook 1 (lessons 1 - 7).
