Nutrition and Diet in Primary Health Care
Objectives:
1. Understand and know how to apply the knowledge acquired in the context of consultation regarding the nutritional approach of the patient with the different pathologies addressed;
2. Know how to implement a culture of multi and interdisciplinarity in the workplace in the evaluation and discussion of nutritional therapy;
3. Promoting healthy eating in the context of General and Family Medicine consultations: Brief advice for healthy eating in primary health care;
4. Screening, diagnosis and nutritional therapy of nutritional status disorders: malnutrition, sarcopenia, vitamin and mineral deficiencies;
5. The impact of diet and nutrition on metabolic diseases (obesity, diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia) and interpret the guidelines for the treatment of these pathologies.
Dual operating regime: face-to-face and distance/e-learning.
Duration: 54 hours total, of which 16 hours of contact and 38 hours of autonomous study.
