Masters Degree in Community Nutrition and Public Health
The Master's Degree in Community Nutrition and Public Health, jointly offered by three U.Porto faculties (FCNAUP, FMUP and ICBAS), has a multidisciplinary and multicultural approach, designed in terms of intervention at the health, education and market levels. The course prepares professionals, ensuring employability in the public and private sectors, who are involved with food and nutrition work based on scientific evidence and within the broader scope of Public Health.
Job Opportunities
Monitoring and observation of the population and populational groups in the field of health, particularly regarding nutrition and food; Development of food and nutritional policies; Planning, implementation, communication, management, monitoring and assessment of community intervention programmes in the health domain, namely regarding food and nutrition; Community intervention in the context of food and nutrition; Food safety and quality.
