Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be submitted via the link below. Abstracts sent by e-mail or any other means will not be accepted.
The following rules should be taken into account when submitting an abstract:
- The topics of the proposed work must fall within the IJUP’s thematic areas;
- At the time of submission, the choice of oral or poster format must be indicated;
- Abstracts must not exceed the limit of 2030 characters (including spaces) for the abstract field;
- Abstracts must be submitted by the submission deadline: March 02, 2025;
- The abstract must be written in English, in order to be more widely disseminated internationally;
- The option to present a work in the form of an Oral Communication requires the presentation of results. In the case of work to be presented in a poster format, the student may submit an abstract describing results, even if they are preliminary, provided that they are duly contextualized and provided that the expected final results and the expected impact of the work on its area of knowledge are mentioned;
- Publication of the work submitted in the Book of Abstracts presupposes its presentation at the event.
If a submitted abstract is not compliant with the rules presented, it will not be accepted. Use of the template, that will shortly be provided, is mandatory.
Abstract Review
All abstracts will be reviewed by a Jury of experts in the respective field, expressly appointed by the IJUP Scientific Commission. As well as verifying that the abstract complies with the submission rules, the Jury will assess its admissibility, taking into account its scientific value and originality. After the review, the author will receive an email informing them of the decision to accept the work for presentation at IJUP, and changes may be recommended. The Scientific Commission reserves the right to withhold publication of works that receive a negative evaluation or do not comply with the aforementioned guidelines.
Abstract submissions will open soon.

Distinction of Works
The works presented will be evaluated by professors and researchers, taking into account the scientific area of the work. There are 5 evaluation criteria for distinguishing a work:
1. Organization
2. Exhibition
3. Presentation aids
4. Contents
5. Answers to the questions asked
The selection of works to be distinguished will consider the abstract of the work, valuing:
- The results obtained (to the detriment of early-stage work);
- The potential for work continuity;
- The impact of the work on the respective area of knowledge;
- The practical applicability and potential economic value of the knowledge (where applicable).
The evaluation will also focus on the presentation, taking into account:
- The organization (presentation structure and time management);
- The presentation (posture and effectiveness of the presenter);
- The content (scientific level of the information presented, quality of its discussion and suitability for the audience).
The distinctions will be announced and awarded at a later date.
